Privacy Policy
This page explains what this app stores, how payments and restore access are handled, and how users can contact Life in UK Practice about privacy questions.
1. Who runs this app
Life in UK Practice operates this independent study app. It is designed to help users revise for the Life in the UK Test and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the UK Government, GOV.UK, the Home Office, or any official test provider.
2. What we store on your device
The app stores revision progress, mock-test history, and premium access status in your browser on the current device. This helps the app remember your activity between visits.
3. Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s hosted checkout pages. We do not collect or store full card numbers in this app.
4. Contact details from payments
When a user pays through Stripe, limited checkout details such as email address, customer name, payment status, and session ID may be returned to the app so that premium access can be confirmed.
5. Restore premium access
If a user requests to restore premium access, the app may use the payment email address to check whether an active premium purchase exists and send a one-time restore code.
6. How we use information
We use limited information only to provide the app, confirm premium purchases, restore premium access, handle support requests, prevent misuse, and keep the app working correctly.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell user data. Payment information is processed by Stripe on Stripe’s hosted checkout pages. Restore emails may be sent using an email delivery provider. We only use service providers where needed to run the app.
8. Security
The app and website use HTTPS to help protect information in transit. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.
9. Data retention and deletion
Premium purchase and restore information may be kept for as long as needed to provide premium access, handle support requests, meet legal obligations, and prevent misuse. Users can request deletion of their data by contacting support@mail.lifeinukpractice.uk.
10. Support and data questions
For privacy, support, or data questions, contact support@mail.lifeinukpractice.uk.
